The Richard B. Stone building and its surrounding area was full of excitement, commitment and a sincere desire to share knowledge and receive knowledge as an ongoing goal to advance the outreach, promotion and education of Health and Wellness in Bullock County. Many gathered to this site during the afternoon of September 28th to impart and gain information relative to Health resources available and maintaining a healthy body.
The Bullock County Development Authority (BCDA) applied for and received a $299,600.00 utilizing the USDA Emergency Healthcare Track One grant program. A matching grant of $50,000 each was obtained from the Bullock County Health Care Authority and Professional Resource Management (PRM).

This is a tribute to Joe Stuart, who worked for Bonnie Plant Farm (Bonnie) for over forty years and was in the plant business for over fifty years. Joe Stuart made Bonnie and Alabama Farmer's Coop (AFC) more money than any other one person ever! I want to share several stories about Joe.

Scripture:
“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” - Hebrews 13:20-21 ESV

The recent proclamation by Governor Kay Ivey designating October as Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Month is a deeply personal and significant moment. This official recognition underscores the historical and contemporary significance of HBCUs in shaping education, fostering leadership, and advancing cultural contributions.
