This sweet girl is Shelby, and she is approximately 1-2 years old. Shelby was found in the Esquire Community of Bullock County and our Animal Control Officer was able to capture her and bring her to the shelter on December 15th. Shelby is now up to date on all of her vaccinations, including rabies, and is scheduled to be spayed soon. Shelby has a zest for life and loves to have her belly rubbed. She is such a cuddle-bug and would be the perfect addition to any growing family. She also enjoys the company of the other dogs at the shelter.

Scripture:
“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”- Isaiah 40: 29-31

I sure hope in the holiday rush you remembered to shop locally. Our local merchants need your support to keep their doors open. In Union Springs and Bullock County there are several local businesses that rely on your patronage.

Sunday, December 23, 2023(123123), I was making sure that the bus was in working order. It started up immediately, but by the time I made it to the back, it had shut off. The Lord told me to call Nelson Mason to check it out, but it’s New Year’s Eve, I called and he came, it started but he wouldn’t take any pay. Amen. All’s well for Monday’s parade.
